Organisers of the Zimbabwe Property Show 2026 have announced Tawanda Nyambirai, Group Chief Executive Officer of TN CyberTech Investments Holdings Limited, as a distinguished speaker at this year’s event, set to take place on 3 October at the Quaid-e-Azam Grand Ballroom on Montague Street, Birmingham.
Nyambirai leads TN CyberTech Investments Holdings, the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange-listed group formerly known as EcoCash Holdings, which was rebranded in 2025 to reflect a new ownership structure and strategic focus after transferring its fintech businesses, including EcoCash and Vaya Technologies, back to Econet Wireless Zimbabwe. The group’s principal subsidiary, TN CyberTech Bank, is positioning itself to become Zimbabwe’s first fully-fledged neobank, built around digital channels rather than traditional branch banking.
Property has featured prominently in the bank’s recent strategy. Under Nyambirai’s leadership, TN CyberTech Bank introduced a co-ownership housing scheme allowing buyers — including members of the diaspora, professionals and informal-sector workers — to purchase a percentage stake in a property and gradually increase their ownership over time. The bank has said more than 70 homes have already been sold under the arrangement, with plans to extend the model to over a thousand affordable stands in Harare South.
That track record makes Nyambirai a notable addition to the Zimbabwe Property Show’s speaker line-up, particularly for an audience likely to include diaspora Zimbabweans exploring property investment from abroad. Organisers describe the session as an opportunity for attendees to gain insight from a leading voice shaping the future of financial services, investment and access in Zimbabwe, whether they are looking to invest, build, acquire property or grow their financial footprint in the country.
The Birmingham event forms part of a broader push by Zimbabwean financial institutions to engage diaspora communities directly. TN CyberTech Bank and TN Asset Management have separately been confirmed as official banking partners for the UK-Zimbabwe Business Expo 2026, also held in Birmingham, underlining a wider strategy of courting diaspora capital through UK-based events.
For attendees, the session is being billed as a high-value conversation spanning property, business, investment and diaspora opportunities — themes increasingly central to discussions about how Zimbabweans abroad can participate in the country’s property and financial markets. With TN CyberTech’s neobank ambitions and property-linked banking products still expanding, Nyambirai’s appearance is expected to draw significant interest from diaspora investors weighing their next move in Zimbabwe’s property sector.
