Perfect Roofing Solutions Opens Their New Showroom In Graniteside

Perfect Roofing Solutions was established in Msasa in 2019 by Quintin Bruff at Bay 5, 17 Lorely Close, Beverley East, where they still have their factory and head office. In May this year – despite the slowdown in the construction industry caused by the pandemic – they opened their new branch in Graniteside at the corner of Shepperton Road and Diamond Way. The new branch offers clients more convenience. It’s closer to the southern and western industrial sites, and the surrounding residential suburbs, so customers and contractors don’t have to travel across town to Msasa to see Perfect Roofing’s range of roofing products and accessories.

The Graniteside branch doesn’t carry as much stock as the Msasa branch but customers can select their roofing materials from the various profiles and colours on display and if there’s not enough product in stock Perfect Roofing Solutions will supply free transport to site from their Msasa branch to anywhere in Harare. They can also arrange for transport to other centres across Zimbabwe. At the Graniteside branch customers can see samples of Perfect Roofing Solution’s wide range. They have galvanised and Chromadek roof sheets in the standard corrugated profile as well as the IBR profile. IBR stands for Inverted Box Rib which describes the shape of the profile. IBR has become a household name in the African construction industry because of its high strength to weight ratio, optimal loadspan consistency and effective drainage.

They also stock Chromadek Q-Tiles which are fairly new innovation on the roofing market. Q-Tiles have all the advantages of metal roofs – they’re light weight, durable and easy to use – combined with the aesthetic appeal of traditional roof tiles. Corrugated sheets, IBR and Q-Tiles are available in various thicknesses, lengths and widths as well as a wide variety of colours. Colours include the standard galvanised silver as well as traffic green, charcoal grey, dark dolphin, azure blue, kingfisher blue, maroon and Kalahari red. There’s a pale sandstone colour available too, though it’s not as popular as the other colours. And if none of these colours suit you customised colours can be ordered depending on the quantities involved. Home owners can even paint their roof sheets to any colour they want although there’s a bit of process involved to prepare the sheets for painting and a reputable roof paint product needs to be used.

Perfect Roofing Solutions can give you good advice for this option. In addition to their roof sheets Perfect Roofing Solutions can supply or custom make valley gutters, flashing, cranked ridges or roll top ridges (from 7 degrees to 38 degrees), door caps and double or single bullnosed sheets. The factory at Msasa manufactures the roof profiles and other products from coils of flat sheeting so they’re pretty versatile and can easily make up custom orders to a client’s specifications. They often work with architects and engineers to provide specialised, individual products for complex roofing designs.

Perfect Roofing Solutions also supply roof insulation products like glass wool and Alububble. The insulation is usually used between the roof sheets and the ceiling for residential applications, although for big warehouses and factories the Alububble is often left exposed. Both glass wool and Alububble provide very effective thermal insulation keeping structures cooler in summer and warmer in winter – as well as providing some acoustic insulation.

The noise of a summer rain storm on a large metal roof can be quite loud! They also supply Whirlybird turbine ventilators in various sizes to keep cool, fresh air in circulation for homes and factories. Perfect Roofing Solutions supply galvanised and coated wiring (for fixing insulation in place) as well as roofing and safety nails, self-tapping screws and Tek screws. Tek screws, also called self-drilling screws, are fasteners that have a drill bit end allowing them to be used for screwing materials such as wood and metal together without pre-drilling. They also stock a simple range of tools essential for roofing projects, like tape measures, hand levels, pliers and tin snips – in fact just about everything necessary for a great roof solution.

So drop into Perfect Roofing Solutions at either their Msasa or Graniteside branches to see their range of roofing products and accessories, get great advice about the best option for your property and get a quotation. They’re happy to work on a quotation from your architect’s drawings or to visit your site.

They’ll even recommend tried and trusted roofing contractors for your project. In addition they offer flexible payment terms and lay-by schemes for individuals.
