Luka Pantić studied in Quito, Ecuador, and Florence, Italy graduating with a sports complex design. He has since worked in Serbia, Montenegro, Romania, and Italy before coming back to Zimbabwe and registering with the Architects Council of Zimbabwe.
He has been involved in a wide variety of projects, from the New Parliament building to the New City masterplan, NSSA Bindura and Chipinge Commercial Centers, Parkview and Borrowdale Hospitals, and many commercial and residential projects. The practice works in Zimbabwe but also in Zambia, Botswana, and Mozambique.
Currently, Luka and his team are working on the Great Zimbabwe Heritage Monument, Museum of African Liberation, Masterplans for Victoria Falls and Masuwe, a couple of Commercial centers, cluster houses, and other projects.
Luka is passionate about Green and Sustainable design and is probably the only Green Star-accredited architect in Zimbabwe. He also sits on the Green Building Council board and is part of the UN-mandated team working on new Building Bye-laws for Energy Efficiency in buildings for Zimbabwe.
