DIASPORA-LINKED FIRM EXPANDS RESIDENTIAL FOOTPRINT IN KEY ZIMBABWEAN CITIES

Home Link Private Limited (Pvt), established in 2004 by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ), is significantly expanding its real estate portfolio with the development of new residential estates in Harare and Bulawayo.

Through its subsidiary, Home Link Properties, the company is undertaking ambitious housing projects aimed at addressing the growing demand for quality and affordable accommodation in Zimbabwe’s two largest cities.

In Bulawayo, Home Link is offering fully serviced low-density residential stands in the sought-after Homelink Park, located in Sunninghill Extension. Situated just 9 km from the CBD and a convenient 2.5 km from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), the development boasts essential infrastructure including tarred roads, a reliable water supply, and a functional drainage system. Sewer management will be facilitated through septic tanks.

The generously sized stands, ranging from 2,000 sqm to 4,600 sqm, present an attractive investment opportunity with prices starting at USD 15 per sqm and scaling up to USD 19 per sqm based on size. To enhance accessibility, Home Link is offering flexible payment terms extending up to 24 months for these stands.

Meanwhile, in Harare, Home Link is making strides with its Home Link Heights development in Crowborough. The project features the construction of modern two-bedroom apartments within a securely gated complex. These units are priced competitively at USD 68,200, with flexible payment options available over a five-year installment plan, catering particularly to low-income earners.

Residents of Home Link Heights will benefit from reliable borehole water backup, ample parking space, dedicated children’s play areas, and the security of sectional titles, granting full ownership of their properties. The Zimbabweans in the Diaspora Organization (ZIDO) are the contracted builders for this promising residential complex.

According to project officials, the construction of the Crowborough flats is progressing well and is expected to reach completion by mid-year. Upon finalization, owners will receive their title deeds, a process slated to occur within the same timeframe.

Furthermore, Home Link plans to enhance the living experience at Home Link Heights by including amenities such as an expanded playground within the secure compound. This expansion by Home Link signifies a significant step towards providing diverse and accessible housing options in Zimbabwe’s key urban centers.
