MCAZ to construct solar plant

The Medicine Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) is set to construct a 140 kW solar power plant at their premises in Harare and has since applied for a license from the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA).

The application for the license is in terms of the provisions of section 42 and 46 of the Electricity Act (Chapter 13:19)

In a statement ZERA confirmed that it had received an application from MCAZ to construct, own, operate, and maintain the 140kW photovoltaic power plant in Harare for its own consumption

MCAZ joins several cooperates that have installed solar power plants at their premises.
