JJMaintenance and Building Construction Pvt Ltd t/a JJ Jobbing Services is a wholly Zimbabwean owned company which was registered under the Companies Act in 1995, so they have nearly 30 years of experience in the field. Since then they have successfully completed a number of major construction developments including residential, industrial and commercial projects. JJ Maintenance and Building Construction were involved in the construction of the BYD showroom along the Airport Road, which we featured in our previous issue.
The managing director is Mr Simbarashe Nenguke, assisted by Ruvimbo Nenguke and Tendai Nenguke in the customer services and liaison divisions – so it’s a well-established family business.
JJ Maintenance and Building Construction not only offer an experienced team of expert construction artisans and specialists, they also supply building materials and equipment. They supply bricks, cement, structural steel, roofing timbers, precast walling panels and other related building materials.
They have invested in a large amount of heavy duty construction equipment which they utilise in-house for their own projects but which are also available for hire. Just a part of their equipment includes a vast range of scaffolding and accessories for construction, step ladders, platforms and tools for painting services, two concrete vibrators and two concrete mixers, roller and plate compactors as well as other general construction equipment.
JJ also has their own fleet of construction vehicles, meaning they’re fully equipped to take on any construction or maintenance projects – from big to small – and most of their equipment is available to hire for private contractors. JJ Jobbing Services currently has nine full time staff who are well-trained and skilled in all aspects of the construction industry, as well as more than ten workers on a monthly contract basis. Their experienced staff can competently deal with most aspects of the construction industry including concrete work, bricklaying, plastering, ceiling installations, tiling and painting and exterior paving. They also have in-house experts for plumbing and electrical work so JJ Maintenance and Building Construction can provide a full construction service from start to finish.
JJ Maintenance and Building Construction has the three main elements to make them your one-stop, go to contractors for any job – big or small. They have the trained and experienced staff (working under expert supervision), in house equipment and plant, and procurement and supply services for materials. Their three level service ensures that all your projects are completed on time and on budget with no unnecessary and costly delays. Apart from a number of private residential clients just a few of their satisfied corporate clients include : BYD, Unilever, FAW, GIZ, SOS Children’s’ Village, Supreme Panel Beaters, Tsapo Group of Companies and C track Zimbabwe.
